What is Undeb?

PENMAENMAWR

Penmaenmawr is a small town in North Wales in the United Kingdom and, as in most towns, there is a variety of different Christian churches and chapels catering for the needs of the residents.

Over the past few years many of the churches and chapels have come together in order more truly to reflect the spirit of Christian Charity and more effectively to spread the Gospel in this part of Wales.

As part of the general movement towards common action, some of the church leaders and ministers have formed “Churches Together in Penmaenmawr” which promotes discussion of items of interest to all the member churches and enables them to plan together for future action and worship.

“Undeb” is a Welsh word meaning “Unity”, and here in Penmaenmawr we have found a unity in Jesus Christ that allows us to work together without compromising our deeply held convictions or losing our individual traditions.

This website will, we hope, enable us to reach out to other Christians so that they will not feel afraid to join with other Christian denominations and work for Jesus Christ.
