The Joshua Project

[Kingsley Armstrong]

The Joshua Project, headed up by Rev Kingsley Armstrong, aims to equip ordinary people to work in their local churches and to give them a vision for mission in their own communities.

The course consists of 8 Sessions:-
1. God in the background: Discover what God was teaching Joshua long before He called him.
2. Moses, my servant, is dead: Discover how the call comes to Joshua and the challenge to move on.
3. Be strong and courageous: Discover how God's Word, his promises & his presence changed Joshua.
4. Crossing the Jordan: Discover how Joshua learned to expect new things and tune his ear into God.
5. The Gilgal Covenant Renewal: Discover how God wiped away the failure of the past and renewed his covenant.
6. The Battle of Jericho: Discover the victories God gave Joshua and the warnings.
7. Possessing the Land: Discover how Joshua led the people to survey the land and lay hold of it.
8. The Effects of living in the Land: Discover the things that happened as a consequence of Joshua possessing the land ... miracles, victories, temptations, etc.

Joshua Project ll

Kingsley has now produced a follow up course to the Joshua Project and has called it J.P.2. It is basically a course of studies from the book of the Judges. The people of God have entered the land but are finding that it's not as easy as they were expecting and that there are a lot of pitfalls along the way. The enemy is not going away and they are being infiltrated at times by people with other beliefs. How can they cope in such circumstances?

Is it for Your Church?

Do you dream of serving God but really don't know how to go about it? Do you feel that God has called you to do more than you are at present? Do you desire to be more effective in your local church?
If you are interested in hosting a course at your church or in knowing more about the Joshua Project or J.P.2, then please do not hesitate to contact Kingsley Armstrong at : email: kingsley@thejoshuaproject.co.uk

Annual Conferences
There are two main IGO conferences each year, in April and October. These have been the constant feature of IGO for well over 30 years and have always been a blessing to so many for finding renewal and direction in God. Although by no means exclusively for leaders, the autumn conference has a leadership emphasis.
