Dwygyfylchi, Penmaenmawr, North Wales
The Oasis Christian Centre was obtained by NOWGO (North Wales Gospel Outreach)
in the Summer of 1996, when it was derelict and it has since been
restored and become the base for IGO.
At the IGO Oasis there is a coming together of a number of visions. There is:
- The OASIS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP a resource for the local area.
- The headquarters and administration offices of International Gospel
Outreach (IGO) and North Wales Gospel Outreach (NOWGO).
- A centre for prayer and intercession with an emergency prayer line.
See The Intercessors Fellowship.
- Monthly convention weekends the last weekend of most months
under the auspices of International Gospel Outreach.
See IGO End-of-month Specials.
- Occasional Joshua 1:6 and JP2 all-age training programmes.
See The Joshua Project.
- The Nehemiah Project a permanently available Bible training
correspondence course sent out by Rev. John Levy wherever it is
requested, anywhere in the world.
See The Nehemiah Bible Training Centre.
- United Churches ALPHA courses, where several local churches are
involved with us and through which a good number of people have
found new life and healing in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Occasional weekend and mid-week retreats.
See Seminars & Reteats.
- A Christian bookroom and a linked Oasis Christian Bookshop & Coffee Shop
next to the post office in the centre of Penmaenmawr.
See Christian Literature.
- Churches, Christian organisations and individuals are welcome to use the
Oasis and its very attractive facilities for special occasions such as
Alpha away days, leaders group meetings, or whatever, by special arrangement
- At present there are several full-time members in the Oasis team and other
fully committed workers. Over many years there have been a lot of
prophecies about revival in this area (as, of course, there have been for other
areas too and we are certainly believing for a major move of God.
We believe that God is going to use this strategic place in His end-time programme. We are a small group with very little natural resources, but we do have a wonderful Lord who owns EVERYTHING, and He is our Father! It is HIS HOUSE and its for HIS GLORY. We are fully committed to working alongside of, and in conjunction with, other Christian Churches and Fellowships, both Welsh- and English-speaking, and supporting them as fully as possible.
